The home of the modern bullfight, Ronda, Spain sits atop sheer cliffs separated by a deep gorge where the Rio Guadalevín flows. To right in the illustration is the old Muslim quarter, to the left is "New Ronda". In the center is the New Bridge, built in the 18th century to replace an earlier Muslim-built bridge. Illustration based on a personal photograph.
